Dolls for the kids for Christmas

A friend of mine made these for her neice and then i loved them and had been wanting to buy some for my kids for stocking stuffers and so i went at it and made them for my kids. I so hope that they like them.

I used mostly cascade 220 worsted weight yarn. I used up alot of my scrap yarns for these dolls which was awesome. And i used this pattern from ravelry.

Halloween Hat

Whipped this up for my little one for the halloween season and she wore it very little, doesnt like things on her head!!

Lady bug Halloween Longies

Well my youngest was going to be a lady bug for halloween so i decided to make her a pari of longies to go with her outfit for the cold weather. They are made out of cascade 220 adn knit with my own pattern.

Sweaters for the kids

Well we had a cold front come thru and i didnt have a sweater nor a heavy jacket for my youngest. SO i thought hey why not make her a sweater and since it turned out way cute i decided id make a sweater for each of my kids. Well i still have one sweater left and ill start that here soon. But here are the sweaters and i couldnt find a pattern that i loved and saw in my head that i wanted so i took a pattern and just used the CO sts and then made it up as a went. I tend to do that with all my projects. LOL My friend tells me to follow a pattern at least once and i dont know if i ever have. Wait i think i have but it had to be followed or else it wouldnt work and that was the dolls i made the kids for Christmas (soon to come).

And i thought why not make my sons with the favorite team that we like!! GO VIKINGS!!!!!

Blue/Brown/Pink Capris

Made of a very different yarn than i usually use for my clothes. But cant remember for the life of my what kinda yarn it is. Very soft and something handspun tho. Was great to work with and had fun. They are very thick and warm and great for winter weather with some baby legs under them.

Skirtie with detachable legs

I had this great idea to make a skirtie that my daughter would be able to wear in the winter time and in summer. So i made it so that the legs would be detachable and would just tie on if i needed to use the leg parts of the skirtie. Also she could wear the legs part as baby legs when not in need of the full skirtie. I love them to death for the reason that they match the pink/lime ooga booga fabric that is big at the time. I have all the other ooga boogas as well and need to get something made for them to wear around.

Made of cascade 220 and used the juliette skirtie pattern with a picot edging for the skirt part. I love how it turned out and she wears it all the time.

Boy and Girl Skulls Trade

I was interested in a trade with another mama on Diaper Swappers and she accepted and these are the pants that she wanted for her son and daughter.

Made from Cascade 220 and used my own pattern.

If i remember right the inseam for the black and white pair was 13 inches and the girl pair was 9 inches. I loved making them and cant wait to my son a pair.
