Mini Sock

In the Phat Fiber box was a sample of yarn that also had a web site to a free mini sock pattern. So i went and got it right away and made me one for my key chain. And embellished it with "Mom of 3" since thats what i am and proud to be a mom.

It was from The Unique Sheep, http://www.theuniquesheep.com/ , I loved making it and if you want a keep chain to show off what you do and what you are i would highly recommend it!!!! LOL, i love to knit and am a proud mommy!!!!

Munch Money Pattern

I got my FIber Box and in it was some recycled t-shirt. It was so cool to knit with. It was from The Cupcake Factory http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=107632 It walso came with a pattern to it to make a cool coin style pouch. I made it for my 3 yr old to play wiht and still have some of the shirt yarn left over to put in something else too. I love it so much.

April's Phat Fiber Box!!!

OMG!!!!!!! I have been so waiting fro this to come all week. Been very jealous of the other spinners/knitters that have gotten theirs and mine finally came today(friday). And im already ansy for next months. LOL Ok well with no further ado, here is my fiber box and the contents in it. I am so happy!!!

Licorice Twist--

Welli have always wanted to try and dye some licorice twist yarn. I love how it ended up dyeing up and cant wait to knit it up. I noticed that the darker colors dye up better than the lighter ones but i love it all together. I am going to make TexyAnn a skirtie out of it fro summer time. I cant wait to get it knit up.

Monster Longies Trade

These longies are fro a great mom that was willing to trade a couple outfits made from hurley fabric for ym 2 girls and these are the longies that she wanted. She loved the monster bum and then wanted the double ruffle on the bottom.

They are made from Cascade 220 yarn on size 8 needles and using the picky pants pattern on the waistband and the gusset and then i make up the rest as i go. So no pant ever turns out the same. I lvoe it that way cuz i hate following a pattern. The color of the yarns are Dark Navy Blue, Flamingo Pink, and Purple. They go so well together, I love them to death and am sad to see them go. Oh well i guess ill have to make my Texy some later on. LOL

Bumble Bee flies to the Hive!!

These are an elastic waist band pari of longies that are headed to a wonderful mom who i have knitted two other longies for and a hat and still have 2 hats to do. She had converted a bunch of diapers for me. I hope she enjoys them.

These were knit with Knit PIcks yarn on size 8 needles using some of the the Picky pants pattern and some of what i have made up. They have a ruffle cuff that i truely enjoy going.

The duplicate stitch is done with knit picks daffoldil and some black wool yarn i had laying around and then some white i had laying around as well. The main color is Knit Picks Black cherry and the trim is Knit Picks Onyx.
